Ashwin Goyal
(RIBA/ARB) is a London-based architect with over 20 years of experience in design and construction, having worked with some of the most renowned figures in architecture, including Lord Norman Foster and Professor William Alsop OBE.
His career spans a wide range of sectors—from residential and commercial to leisure, aviation, master-planning, and landscape design—across projects of varying scales and budgets.
Ashwin has delivered several high-profile projects including The Rowe in Whitechapel, Lock No. 19 in Fish Island, and The Arc on City Road. His work is driven by a commitment to design excellence, contextual sensitivity, and inclusive practice.
In addition to his architectural work, Ashwin is a leading voice in promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within the profession. He heads the external engagement working group for EDI, fostering partnerships with organisations such as the RIBA, ARB, Paradigm, Blueprint for All, the Architecture Foundation, and Business in the Community (BITC).
Ashwin is an active contributor to policy-focused forums such as the Architecture Race Forum, which unites over 50 UK practices to drive meaningful change in the profession. He also maintains a strong connection to academia, serving as a regular guest critic for Unit XX at the Welsh School of Architecture in Cardiff. In recognition of his design insight.
Adrian Yau
(BArch, MA Arch, ARB) is a London-based Project Architect with over 10 years of experience.
Having contributed to award-winning practices such as Terry Farrell & Partners and Allford Hall Monaghan Morris. His international portfolio spans the UK, Hong Kong, and Beijing, and includes a wide range of projects across residential, office, masterplanning, interior design, and co-living sectors. Notable works include No.1 Blackhorse Lane, The Arc on City Road, and One Excellence CBD in Qianhai, reflecting his commitment to delivering high-quality, contextually responsive architecture.
Adrian brings a strong collaborative ethos and a passion for designing thoughtful, community-focused spaces. His creative journey began in Fine Arts, where he trained and practiced as a painter before discovering architecture later in life. This transition led to an MA in Architecture from the Royal College of Art in 2016—a background that continues to inform his approach, blending artistic sensibility with spatial intelligence.
Alongside his professional practice, Adrian is deeply committed to mentoring and advocating for greater diversity in the design professions. He actively supports emerging talent beyond traditional institutions and strives to foster a more inclusive and representative architectural community.
